Contractors play an integral role in the IT world and are often core to the success of IT projects.

Q3BR is positioned to deliver top caliber contractors when required by the project or client. There is a tri-partite relationship between the contractor, Q3BR and the client. Q3BR takes responsibility for the management of the payroll, HR and labour relations related matters and assists in performance management of the contractor.

Our contractors and clients have the options of:
1. the contractor being employed by Q3BR (and in turn being contracted out to the client), or

2. the contractor being contracted as an Independent Contractor.

 

Option 1 (employed by Q3BR):

  • Q3BR is responsible for administering the payroll, all of the statutory returns and HR management of the employee

  • The client has the flexibility of structuring the billing as an hourly rate or as a fixed monthly rate

 

Option 2 (Independent Contractor):

  • The contractor is not regarded as an employee of Q3BR or the client

  • Q3BR is responsible for administering the payroll, statutory returns of the contractor and labour relations

  • The client has the flexibility of structuring the billing on an hourly rate or as a fixed monthly rate.
